We process upto 90,000 tonnes of material a year that may have traditionally been landfilled, saving thousands of tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.

Having been used as a landfill since the 1960s, the site has developed in line with advancements in landfill engineering and management.

Established in 1973, Quercia is a modern and focused waste company, operating from a former 76-acre sand quarry known as Clayton Hall, Chorley.
